The Fifth Element -- AKA "The Fifth" -- is one of my favorite places to go grab a drink after work with the girls, or go to on a casual date. With its fantastic modern and slightly-loungey atmosphere, this bar/restaurant is an awesome place to hang-out. The Fifth Element spans two stories, with the downstairs being the bar area (where I prefer to be!). They also have an upstairs that is normally for dining; try their grilled pizzas or any of their great entrées.
Personally, I go for the bar scene. "The Fifth" has a wonderful grape martini that I highly recommend... yummy! The prices are average, and the service is always friendly. It is definitely the kind of place that you end up going to frequently if you are a local.
Something to keep in mind is that this place has a tendency to get packed early, especially on a weekend night, so don't be surprised if you are stuck waiting outside, or are turned away by one of their good-natured bouncers. If you do make it in, you are sure to have a great time, and you will probably end up making a few new friends too.
