The Rhino Bar & Grille is actually 2 separate bars/clubs. You walk into the front of the building, and a rather large meathead will be sure to examine the hell out of your license, and ask you for about $20 to enter. Once in, you will be presented with 2 options… Much like the pills in the Matrix, these 2 options are VERY different. To the right you have the Rhino itself - a classic wood grain bar & grill, where they play Tom Petty, and serve onion rings. This option, although better, is often not the pill taken.
The other option, to the left, is the Mamba Room. You walk through the doors and right smack dab into the ghetto. Over to the right, you'll notice some comfortable looking round couches/tables... Don't sit in them! They are the reason that the place smells like mildew & puke. I am convinced that the reason it's so dark in there is so you can't see how ugly most of the people are in the place... Fat women seem to flock to this dump, and they bring along every 2 bit thug & gangsta in a velour suit. For a real Newport experience, don't take either of these pills.
All and all, I would give Rhino an upside down scoop, but the right side isn't so bad...1 scoop for you!
