There are dozens of clothing stores in Newport, RI, but few have the reputation and success that Michael Hayes does. There are two locations, one on historic Bellevue Avenue, as well as one on Bowens Wharf. With exquisite pieces for both men and women, this upscale retailer really knows how to define luxury.

For the ladies, Michael Hayes has a fabulous selection of sports wear, shoes, dresses, and evening wear; they even stock denim! They carry noted designers such as Missoni, Tory Burch, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Nicole Miller, to name just a few. Merchandise arrives daily, and the selection is always up to date with the latest trends.

As for menswear, they offer the best in quality suits, and can custom order and fit to your exact specifications. If suits aren't your thing, check out their more casual collection from Vineyard Vines. They also offer a great variety of outerwear and ties.

This high-class boutique has been open for twenty-five years, so they are certainly among the best in terms of providing customer service and quality products. Michael Hayes definitely makes it to the top of the list of my fave shopping spots in Newport!
