🎄 Newport Beach Kicks Off ‘50 Days of Festive Fun’

The Gist: Newport Beach is lighting up the coast once again with its third annual 50 Days of Festive Fun, running from November 14 through January 2. The celebration features sparkling events like the 117th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, the Fashion Island Tree Lighting, and the Fire & Lights Festival at Newport Dunes. Locals and visitors can also explore the city’s Holiday Trail, filled with dazzling decorations and cozy coastal charm.

⚓ Big Dredge, Bright Future for Newport Harbor

The Gist: The City and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have kicked off the final major dredging project in Newport Harbor, set to remove nearly 900,000 cubic yards of sediment over the next year. The work will restore the harbor’s depth, improve water quality, and keep navigation safe for decades to come.
