If you've spotted a few more camera crews, celebrities, or well-dressed visitors around town lately, there's a good reason. Newport Beach TV Fest is back, bringing some of television's biggest names right into our backyard.

🌟 Star-studded TV Fest returns to Lido Theatre

The Gist: The second annual Newport Beach TV Fest returns to the Lido Theatre from June 4 through 7. Founded by Todd Quartararo and Gregg Schwenk, the event capitalizes on Emmy voting season to bring major television stars to Orange County. This year’s lineup features big names like Andy Cohen, Seth MacFarlane, Sebastian Maniscalco, and the cast of the hit comedy series Shrinking.

Why It Matters: Beyond the celebrity sightings, there's plenty of hometown pride: honoree Andy Cohen is being recognized for the Real Housewives franchise that started right here in OC, and Newport Harbor High grad Ted McGinley will be in town with the Shrinking cast.

🏢 Corona del Mar brokers land national recognition (again)

The Gist: Hanley Investment Group's Jeff Lefko and Bill Asher, both based in Corona del Mar, were named 2026 GlobeSt. Net Lease Influencers, one of commercial real estate's most respected national honors. Since forming their partnership in 2018, the duo has closed more than 900 deals totaling $4 billion in retail and net-lease transactions.

Why It Matters: Hanley has built its 20-year reputation out of CdM, and its top team has earned GlobeSt. Influencer recognition every year since 2020. Quiet but consistent wins like this are how Newport-area firms keep punching above their weight in national commercial real estate.
